The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino was by Peter Morton to Morgans Hotel Group Co. for $770 million. The sale includes the 647-room hotel & 30,000-square-foot casino on 17 acres at Paradise Road & Harmon Avenue, the adjacent 24 acres & related intellectual property. The property totals 41 acres. Mr. Morton will get an excess of 95% of the net proceeds from the sale. Editor's Note: This is a high class hotel with the rock & roll scene & is where I stayed while on vacation last Summer. The Hard Rock is a great place to stay while in Vegas.
