Mesa Southwest Museums Wins DMA Award

The Downtown Mesa Association (DMA) chose to honor the Mesa Southwest Museum for its significant revitalization efforts and quality investments to better Downtown Mesa. The award was given the to Mesa Southwest Museum on Wednesday May 3rd, at a ceremony at the Marriott Hotel Convention Center. The reception, generously sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank, offered before & after photos of awardees & their properties, & gave organizations an opportunity to visit with more than 100 downtown Mesa commercial property & business owners, & City officials & staff. Achievement awardees will be recognized in a number of other DMA publications: Downtown Focus newspaper, DMA website, press releases, awards program, and the like. The Mesa Southwest Museum is located at 53 N. Macdonald St. in downtown Mesa. It is Arizona's premier museum of cultural & natural history, exploring the Southwest's history from the time before the dinosaurs to the present day.
