Mesa Art League Fine Art Show
From June 3rd, 2006 thru July, 2006 at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum, you & your family are invited for a day of Fine Art and Picnic fun! What a great way to start the summer than to take a stroll through the park, even the family dog can join in. All well behaved dogs on a leash are most welcome. Before you take your walk, stop by to see the wonderful art work of the Mesa Art League. There will be 2 art displays, one in the Boyce Thompson Arboretum Gallery & the “Fence Art Show”. The artists will be on hand to chat with, as many will have prints, note cards, & originals for sale. Get there early for a special treat! At 10 am, Impressionist oil painter, Cindy Carrillo will be giving a plein air demonstration. Being a native Arizonan from Superior she knows this area very well. Her brushstrokes just flow across the canvas in a beautiful array of colors. What a delight for the eyes! So, get those walking shoes on, pack a picnic lunch & come out to support your local artists! The Boyce Thompson Arboretum is located on, U.S. 60 at milepost 223, just West of Superior. Admission to the Arboretum is, $7.50 for adults & $ 3.00 for ages 5 to 12.
