Kids' Art Class

Children between the ages of 7-17 are invited to sign up for a special "3-D art class" where they will learn to make their own prickly cactus canvas with Sandy Tracey on Saturday, May 20th, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The special art class is included with regular admission (or FREE to Arboretum annual members), but the class is limited to a dozen students. Pre-register by email to sandy@vipit.net or by calling Sandy at 480-220-1356. The Boyce Thompson Arboretum is at highway 60 milepost #223, about 45 miles due East of Mesa as you approach Superior. Gallery exhibits are displayed in the visitor center each month & may be seen daily during business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (May-through-August hours are 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.). Daily admission is $7.50 for adults, $3 for ages 5-12. For other details please call 520-689-2811. This exhibit remains on display until Sunday, May 28.
