Ironwood-Gantzel Construction Alert

This is part of an ongoing series of construction alerts issued throughout the construction of the Ironwood-Gantzel Roadway Improvement Project. These alerts will announce construction, detour & closure information as it affects traffic. Motorists are asked to obey all posted speed limit signs at 25 MPH.

1. INTERSECTION CLOSURE - The intersection of Combs & Gantzel will be closed Tomorrow from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists are advised to use Kenworthy to Ocotillo to Rittenhouse as an alternate route during the closure. Residents of Circle Cross will have local access on Gantzel to Bella Vista & are advised to use Bella Vista to Hunt Highway or Sierra Vista as an alternate route. Sheriff's officers will be present at the closures for extra control.
2. ROAD CLOSURE - Ocotillo & Combs will be closed May 21st from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. For other routes, see the map on Ironwood's web site at www.IronwoodProject.com.
3. REDUCED SPEED - Due to the presence of construction personnel in the construction zone, motorists are asked to pay attention to reduced speed limits when traveling through the area. Sheriff's officers will be vigilantly monitoring the construction zone.
