Gila County Sheriff Press Release

At approx., 2300 hrs. on 5-17-06 inmate Edroin Scroggins was transported from the Gila County Detention Facility to CVCH where he expired shortly thereafter from apparent natural causes. The subject was 56 years of age & in custody on charges of molestation of a 13 year old female. An investigation into the death is currently being conducted. The next of kin have been notified.
