"From Above: Images of a Storied Land"
The photographs of ancient & modern landscapes are captured from a unique vantage point, an ultralight airplane. The Mesa Southwest Museum has announced an opening of a brand new exhibition, "From Above: Images of a Storied Land," by aerial photographer Adriel Heisey. From Above will be on display from May 13th - Oct. 29th at 53 N. Macdonald St. in Downtown Mesa. Museum admission, activities, & light refreshments on Sunday, May 14th are FREE. On Saturday May 13th, Adriel Heisey’s ultralight plane will be on display in a parking lot adjacent to Mesa Southwest Museum from 11-12:30 p.m., & at 2 p.m. Heisey's aerial photographs have been featured in exhibitions throughout the U.S. as well as in National Geographic & Smithsonian magazines. Don’t miss this opportunity to see them at the Mesa Southwest Museum.
HOURS: Tues.-Sat., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sun., 1 to 5 p.m. Closed Mondays & city holidays.
