Two Australian miners have been rescued from a gold mine after being trapped for 13 days & 3,000 feet underground are safe & well, the mine manager has said. The 2 men were not crushed due to a huge slab of rock that had landed on the 16-square-foot cage, they were working in & formed a roof that kept them from further harm.
