DUI Patrol Info

The Gila Co. DUI Task Force will be conducting a DUI enforcement checkpoint/roadblock tomorrow from approx., 7:30 p.m. to approx., midnight. The location of the detail will be State Route 188 at milepost 251, by Roosevelt Lake. The Task Force is comprimised of officers from the Az. DPS, Gila CO. Sheriff's Dept., & both the Globe & Payson PD's. In addition they will have roving patrols throughout the weekend.

The Globe PD will conduct a special DUI patrol during the Memorial Day weekend with help from The Governor's Office of Highway Safety Grant. Seat belt, child restraint, speed violations, DUI, & other alcohol-related offenses will be targeted.
