City Of Globe Council Meeting

The Special Council Meeting is tomorrow at 6 p.m. at the Municipal Building on 150 N. Pine St. in Globe. Items of interest regard the consideration & possible approval of an inter-governmental 10-year agreement for construction on a helibase containg 3 helipads near the 2 new Hagen water tanks, amongst other tie-ins to that subject matter. Also, a request to consider & possibly authorize the city manager to publish a notice of request for proposals for building demolition & abatement of fire-caused debris from both the Pioneer Hotel site & the old Globe Theater properties, to further facilitate development of a multi-screen movie theater complex at the S.E. corner of the intersection of Cedar St. & N. Broad St. in Historic Downtoan Globe, as presented.
