"Changing Places"
The Arizona Main Street Program of the Arizona Dept. of Commerce, Az. Preservation Foundation, Az. State Historic Preservation Office, & Az. Archaeological Council have organized the 4th Annual Arizona Historic Preservation Conference, themed "Changing Places," & the 24th Annual Governor's Heritage Preservation Honor Awards, June 15th-17th, at the Glendale Civic Center. The year 2006 means that its the 100th Anniversary of the passage of the Antiquities Act, the 100th Anniversary of Montezuma Castle National Monument, & the 40th Anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act. Registration gives you the ability to attend many interesting sessions in 6 different tracks; hear national, state & local guest speakers; honor outstanding preservation achievements at the Governor's Heritage Preservation Honor Awards luncheon, & network with preservation advocates preservationists from around the state.
