Arid Lands Studies Tonight In Eager

Tonight, Dr. Lay Gibson, the U. of A. Director of the Economic Development Research Program of the Office of Arid Lands Studies, will speak in Eager. He will make his presentation to the members and guests of the Arizona Sustainable Forests Partnership, from 7 - 8:30 p.m., in the Eagar Town Council Chambers (22 West 2nd street). His topic is an assessment of the economic impact attributable to the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest Stewardship Contract. Gibson's focus has been rural Arizona, & his research aims at determining how money is generated by local businesses & how it circulates.
