Volunteer Service Award Winners Announced
Gov. Janet Napolitano & the Governor’s Commission on Service & Volunteerism today announced the 16 winners of the 2005 Governor’s Volunteer Service Awards in 8 categories. The winners will be honored at a reception hosted by the Governor & the Governor’s Commission on Service & Volunteerism at the State Capitol in central Phoenix.
Every year, thousands of Arizonans give their time & energy to important needs & causes across the State,” said Governor Napolitano. “Today I am especially proud to honor these 16 individuals, groups & businesses whose exceptional work & dedication has strengthened all of our lives.”
