Preparing For The Drought Workshop

The workshop is on April 18th, 2006 at the Apache Gold Conference Center, in San Carlos, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to attend. This workshop is sponsored by the San Carlos Apache Natural Resources Conservation District. Topics discussed are going to be Range Management during, before & after the drought, Climate analysis (prediction & precipitation), Economics, outlook & niche marketing for livestock, & panel discussion on conservation practices to include local agencies, the University of Arizona, & the Natural Resources Conservation Service.
