New USDA Rural Development Office

In a move to be closer to customers, markets & a vibrant business core, USDA Rural Development has announced the opening a new office in Show Low, on May 1st. The office will be located at 1801 W. Deuce of Clubs in Suite 120 of the White Mountain Commerce Plaza. Rural Development is hiring staff for a few of the positions & are moving existing staff to fill the others. The programs provide low cost loans & loan guarantees for individuals hoping to buy a home of their own. The Show Low Local Office will now serve the Holbrook area. Rural Development plans to hire a Community Programs Specialist & a Technician to do outreach for many of the other programs the agency has, such as community facilities & water & waste water.
