Mesa Air Adds To Their Board Of Directors

Mesa Air Group, Inc. has announced the election of Carlos Bonilla & Richard Thayer to its Board of Directors. Mesa currently operates 180 aircraft with over 1,050 daily system departures to 172 cities, 45 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, & Mexico. Mesa operates as America West Express, Delta Connection, US Airways Express & United Express under contractual agreement with America West, Delta Air Lines, US Airways & United Airlines, respectively, and independently as Mesa Airlines. Effective on June 9th, Mesa will launch inter-island Hawaiian service! This new operation will link Honolulu to the neighbor island airports of Hilo, Kahului, Kona, & Lihue. The Company, founded by Larry & Janie Risley in New Mexico in 1982, has approximately 5,000 employees. Mesa is a member of the Regional Airline Association & Regional Aviation Partners. The Company was named 2005 Regional Airline of the Year by Air Transport World Magazine.
