Globe-Miami Community Easter Egg Hunt
On Saturday, April 15th it's the 11th Annual Easter Egg Hunt & will be held at the Claypool Little League Fields with registration starting at 9 a.m. at the Moose Lodge. All children that register before the hunt will have their names entered into a drawing for the prizes that will be given away during the picnic after the hunt. The hunt begins at 10 a.m. at the little league fields with kids split into age categories. There will be 2,500 eggs ( a mix of real eggs & plastic eggs filled with money & candy) hidden throughout the park area. The Moose Lodge will provide a hotdog lunch for all participants & their families. Pictures will be available with the Easter Bunny for $1 or one can of food for the local food bank. Please bring your own baskets or bags for the hunt. The entire event is FREE to anyone in the community or surrounding area, so, come out & have some fun with the family.
This is a cooperative effort of the Miami Rec. Dept., Moose Lodge #2014, the Globe PD & FD, & Gila Co. If you'd like to volunteer to help fill the plastic eggs ( Thurs. April, 13th at 5:30 p.m. at the Bullion Plaza Gym) or would like to help with the hiding of the eggs the morning of the hunt, contact Marty at the Rec. Center by calling 473-2295.
