Texas Rangers To Honor University of Texas Longhorns

The 2005 National Champion University of Texas football coach, Mack Brown, & former coach & 3-time National Championship winner, Darrell Royal, will be honored with the 1st pitch ceremony at the Texas Rangers home opener, Monday, April 3rd against the Boston Red Sox. In addition, the Rangers announced that the University of Texas Longhorn Band will provide the on-field entertainment prior to the game. County music legend & longtime Rangers fan, Charley Pride, will perform the national anthem on Opening Day.
