State Senator Found Unconscious

State Sen. Marilyn Jarrett, 67, was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix around 2 p.m. today after possibly suffering a stroke in her office at the Legislature. Jarrett was not planning on running for re-election. Instead, she's a candidate for a Justice of the Peace seat in Mesa.
