Phoenix's Papago Park Reopening

The park had been closed to vehicular traffic in mid-January to allow workers to complete road & parking area improvement projects. During the project, workers replaced or resurfaced all roadways and parking areas within the park. Workers also added a bike/pedestrian lane to a main roadway loop. The roadway repaving project cost $500,000 and was funded with 2001 bonds.
