Northwest Food Processors Association To Host Satellite Broadcast

The Northwest Food Processors Association are hosting a satellite broadcast on energy saving opportunities in the food processing industry on March 9th. The broadcast showcase's how companies have realized the connection between millions of dollars in savings by decreasing energy usage & increasing productivity. One of the highlighted speakers will be Al Halvorsen, Group Manager of Energy/Utilities for Frito Lay.

Salt River Project, the Arizona Industries of the Future and the Arizona Department of Commerce are local sponsors of the broadcast. SRP will host the broadcast in their Administrative Building at 1521 N. Project Drive in Tempe. The event is scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 9th. Cost to attend is $60 which includes session materials, continental breakfast and a box lunch. Pre-registration is required to attend.
