Mesa Arts Center Exhibition Opening & Reception
The Mesa Contemporary Arts at Mesa Arts Center will hold a reception from 6-9 p.m., Mar. 24th, featuring four exhibitions. Interpretive Landscapes: A Solo Exhibition of Weavings by Navajo Artist D.Y. Begay; Weaving Tradition: Carol Cassidy & the Woven Silks of Laos; Darrell Tousley’s First Sighting; & Cuba- Havana Interiors by Michael Eastman. This reception will serve as the closing reception for Interpretive Landscapes, & the opening for the other three exhibits. This FREE reception will be held at 6 p.m., March 24th in the Mesa Contemporary Arts Courtyard. The public may arrive at 5 p.m. early to hear Michael Eastman, who will hold an artist’s talk in the Main Gallery. The public is invited to enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, mingle with other art enthusiasts, & meet the artists. Navajo guitarist Aaron White will provide musical entertainment. At 7 p.m. there will be a blessing by Buddhist Monks.
