Longtime Bisbee City Council Member Dies

Bob Kasun, longtime City Council member died, at the age of 79, Monday night in a Tucson hospital after a long illness. Kasun, was serving his 4th term on the Bisbee City Council. His term was set to expire in December, even though he faced a recall election next week. The funeral service for Kasun will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Presbyterian Church in Old Bisbee. He will be buried at 1 p.m. Monday at the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Sierra Vista with full military honors.
