Fidelity Laptop Stolen
Why is this news? The laptop computer belonged to Fidelity Investments & contain data on about 196,000 retirement-account customers. The stolen computer holds information on participants in Hewlett-Packard Co.'s pension & 401(k) plans. Fidelity said they have alerted those affected, & is offering them free credit monitoring for 12 months. So far, there has been no evidence the data has been misused.
