Cox To Buy CableAmerica

Cox Communications, Inc., and CableAmerica Corporation announced a definitive agreement for Cox's purchase of the Arizona operations of CableAmerica serving 35,000 basic subscribers. The sale's financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed. Cox currently services more than 2 million customers in Phoenix Mesa, Florence, Wickenburg, Queen Creek, Coolidge and Gila Bend, as well as Maricopa and Pinal Counties.
