Amber Alert

Tempe police have issued an Amber Alert for an 11-year-old girl named Valeria Cardenas. She is an Hispanic female, who is 5'1", weighs 130 lbs. and has brown shoulder-length hair with highlights. She was last seen wearing light brown jacket, a dark blue skirt and a black backpack. She was last seen in the area of Baseline Road and Priest at 6:50 a.m. It's suspected that she might be heading to Mexico with her 19-year-old boyfriend, Carlos Alberto Mota-Aguilera. He is described as a Hispanic man 5-foot-1, 140 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a baseball hat and baggy clothes. The pair might be in a blue 200 Hyundai Tiburon with the license Arizona plate 244-SXH or a tan 1996 Chevy pickup with the Arizona license plate 331-RTE. If you have information, call 1-800-646-2475.
