Sundome Center for the Performing Arts Name Change

The Sundome Center for the Performing Arts in Sun City is now the Maricopa County Events Center. Maricopa County bought the 7,000-seat facility in November for $10 from Arizona State University, which wanted to relinquish the financially ailing site. The plan is to fix up the facility and bring in big name artists.
