IRL Rookie of the Year Danica Patrick will try her hand at sports car racing, agreeing to compete in the Rolex 24 At Daytona later this month. Patrick, 23, will work with retiring NASCAR Nextel Cup star Rusty Wallace's team for the January 28 race, which features Daytona Prototype cars and lasts 24 hours over a 3.56-mile road course as teams rotate drivers.

Two years after its racing assets were sold to Champ Car in federal bankruptcy court, the stockholders of Championship Auto Racing Teams Inc. approved the company's plan to dissolve and liquidate its assets.
