It Returns....NOW!!!
Lugnuts and Legdrops has made it's glorious return, exclusively to this site. Whenever I get any news regarding either business I will pass that info on to you. What a time to return, just before tonights WWE Pay-Per-View and throw in some NASCAR news too. I've got a lot of news, so let's begin:
Despite his first season performance on NASCAR's premier series, Kyle Busch has some unfinished business in the Busch Series. Hendrick Motorsports has announced Busch will compete in both the Nextel Cup series and the Busch Series on a full-time basis in 2006. The 20-year-old Busch will drive the No. 5 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the Busch Series, the same car in which he finished runner-up to Martin Truex Jr. in the 2004 standings.
NASCAR has narrowed the possible sites for its first official Hall of Fame to Atlanta, Charlotte or Daytona Beach, Fla., and expects to pick a winning city by the end of March.
Bill Elliott was a long-time Ford driver who closed his career with Dodge. Now he will drive a Chevrolet in the 2006 Daytona 500. Elliott will also drive the MB2-built No. 36 Chevrolet in the February 11 Budweiser Shootout at Daytona, an invitation-only race for 2005 pole winners and former Shootout champions.
Possible New Years Revolution Spoilers:
Jerry Lawler is expected to come out on top in his match against Gregory Helms.
Moolah & Mae Young are scheduled to interfere in tonights bra & panties gauntlet match.
The Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James match may have a "shock" value at the end, with a possible outcome of Mickie becoming the new Women's Champion so a feud can continue and have her turn heel.
There's a slight chance of the Big Show winning his match against Triple H tonight. Triple H is scheduled to win the title at WrestleMania, so, having him job now will help create title contenders for this summer.
The woman who played Shelton's Benjamin's mama on RAW was actress/comedian Thea Vidal. Vidal was a popular comedian in the black comedy circuit and had her own shown on ABC in the early 90's titled "Thea."
Paul Heyman is still negotiating with WWE over a new contract. Due to Heyman not being on good terms with Stephanie McMahon, it's not expected for WWE to bring him back either the creative team or as on-air talent. WWE would like Heyman to be involved in and with future ECW related events and products such as the DVD releases, books, and the annual ECW PPV events.
Also, Stephanie McMahon Levesque & Paul Levesque(HHH) are expecting their first child. As many know, Stephanie & HHH are actually married.
Matt Hardy worked the Armageddon pay-per-view last month with a staph infection in his left hand.
Former TNA wrestler Sonny Siaki has signed a contract with WWE. It's not known if he will start with the WWE or be sent to OVW. Dusty Rhodes recommended the signing of Siaki. When the two were working for TNA Rhodes was the head booker for TNA.
Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Juventud Guerrera, has been released from the company. He had been given warnings multiple times by WWE management for unprofessional behavior backstage and in the ring.
Ron Simmons, the formerpartner of Bradshaw in the APA, was inducted in the Regions Bank Orange Bowl Hall Of Fame, for his accomplishments as a defensive tackle at Florida State. The ceremony was held at the AvMed Orange Bowl Coaches Luncheon, the day before this year’s FedEx Orange Bowl. Simmons was fired during an angle on Smackdown! last year after WrestleMania XX and then got the news that he was really fired! He has since returned to the company working in promotional activities.
