The game that was meant to be last year was worth the wait. After a toe-to-toe 1st half battle, USC started the offensive in the 3rd Quarter and took the lead, leaving the Longhorns behind. But, not for long, the Longhorns gained momentum and slowly crept back up the board and were within a matter of a couple points. As the national championship came down to a final play, Vince Young scrambled for an 8-yard touchdown on a fourth down with 19 seconds left to go and stunned the Trojans 41-38 in the Rose Bowl on last night.
