KPNX Gone From Cable One

KPNX is demanding we pay for service that Phoenix will be getting for FREE, while dropping everybody that's not in the Phoenix market. That's right Channel 12 will disappear effectively January 1st, because they want money that the other stations have long since declined. An agreement which is renewed every three years allows Channel 12 and other stations to negotiate payment in the form of cash or other consideration from Cable One. Cable One has never paid Phoenix broadcasting companies for their signal although cable channels like ESPN have always been paid for their signal. The folks at Cable One will stick to their guns on this issue, otherwise us rural residents will be paying for Phoenix viewers to watch channel 12, without their pockets feeling the pinch. It is this reporters opinion that KPNX does not care about the rural areas and viewers of their service. To voice your concerns call/contact:
