Arizona State Banking Name Change

The Arizona State Banking Department will be known as the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions in accordance with a change in statute effective January 1, 2006. The name change is being implemented pursuant to legislation passed in 2004, striking all references to the Banking Department in the Arizona Revised Statutes and replacing it with the new name. The Department's physical address, phone numbers, e-mail, and other contact information will not change. However, the Internet website address will change to www.azdfi.gov as of January 3, 2006. Electronic e-mail addresses will migrate to the new domain at a later date.
